The director of strategic sourcing and indirect global business partner at Honeywell International, Inc., in Charlotte, NC, Peter Zeller has spearheaded efforts to provide personal protective equipment in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout his 15 years with the Charlotte, NC-based company, Peter Zeller has optimized operations for efficiency and productivity, negotiated with suppliers, and achieved substantial cost savings.
Alongside his career, Mr. Zeller remains active in the United States Navy. In 2019 he became the commanding officer of the NR Fifth Fleet/Naval Central Command Plans/TSCP Unit. Previously, he held positions such as company commander of the Alpha Company Coastal Riverine Squadron 10 in Jacksonville, Florida, deputy commander of the US Navy Task Group 68.6 in Djibouti, Africa, and commanding officer of the Littoral Combat Ship Mine Counter Measure in Fort Worth, Texas.
Peter Zeller also contributes his expertise in areas ranging from US military history to organizational leadership as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Maryland University College. He enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures, and his interests include conducting historical research, reading classical literature, and coaching youth baseball.
